Zephyr Lane
Zephyr Lane records in her Lisbon kitchen with the window open. Traffic outside becomes part of the song. Two chords on a cracked ukulele.
Calling the second person
“Broken Ukulele” is written to someone the singer has not met yet. “You are the second person I called / The first one did not answer.”
