1 min read

Getting your music on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music requires a distributor—not direct upload.

Choose a distributor

DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby, and others. Compare fees, commission, and features.

Prepare your assets

WAV or high-quality MP3, 3000×3000 cover art, metadata (song titles, writer names, ISRC codes).

Set a release date

Give yourself at least two weeks for pre-save campaigns and playlist pitching.

Claim your artist profiles

Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists—verify as soon as your music is live.
